Hello, Blog-world! :) It's been such a loooong time! One summer and one whole semester have passed since my last entry! So many things have happened, so many changes, so many adjustments, so many realizations, so many new experiences! I just have so many things in mind right now, so many things to write about I don't know where to start! Haha! Anyway, here goes... ************ Pursuing Masters (Again!) I enrolled in two different Master programs ( MA Asian Studies: Japan and MA English Studies: Language ) back in UP Diliman, but finished neither. I got a job, I got sidetracked, I got burned out, I just went crazy! I have no excuses for not finishing, not that anything would excuse me. Haha! But, I don't think the time I spent in both programs was wasted because I really did learn a lot and all those things have stayed with me and have continuously been of great help to me. I'm thankful for the whole experience. I've promised myself, as soon as I came back home for

I'm 31 and... more!

Hello, Blog! Hello, World! :) After everything that's happened in the world-- political and religious unrest in some parts of the Middle East, the earthquake in New Zealand, the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, etc.-- I feel that all my concerns and issues in life are trivial and some even meaningless. It has become very difficult for me to write about anything especially as my thoughts keep going back to the victims of these natural and man-made disasters. Praying for them and hoping for the best seem to not be enough, but what can I really do, right? Donating seems to be the next best thing to do on my level. And, I'm glad that there are many organizations that have made that easier to do. Even our telecom companies make it easier for everyone to at least be of help. It's " simply amazing " how they all contribute in " making great things possible! " So, anyway, what have I been up to? Well, it's almost the end of the semester, so, as always, I ha

Right now, I'm very happy about the Philippine National Men's Football Team ( Azkals ) winning over their Mongolian opponents at Bacolod earlier this evening! Although I still say they could've done so much better, the Azkals really did every Filipino proud! And, the 2-0 win is definitely something! What I love most about all these, though, is seeing Filipino pride rising with every kick of the ball especially at a time when the nation is beset with controversies and corruption, and how Filipinos are starting to see the beauty of football. If only for those reasons, I am very thankful to the Team Azkals ! Mabuhay kayo!!! :) ------------ I was happy to have found my way to Tina Tagle's blog . The said blog became popular when a popular fashion blogger mentioned it. It's hilarious and it gives us a glimpse into the lives of some rich people in the Philippines and also shows us the daily outfits of the very classy and fashionable Miss Tagle . Belated happy birthday, Ocean!

December 18, 2010 was my blog's 7th birthday! I cannot believe I forgot about it! Not that there's a need to celebrate it or anything. Haha! It's just that every single year, I never miss it. But for this last, that is! Tsk. I'm sorry, blog! Yes, I've been blogging for seven years. Those who've continued to read this blog through the years know that I have made a lot of friends through this blog, so many great persons, some who have stayed in my life and some I have lost contact with along the way, some I have met in person and some I have only known and continue to know through their own blogs. Some of my blog-friends have discontinued, deleted or terminated, or just plain started to ignore their blogs. And, that's sad. The feeling is very like that of losing a friend or a friend you have been sharing things with and learning so many things from decides to cut you off his/her life! I always feel sad whenever one of my blog-friends decide to pull the plug on
