Falling Out

They say that the only thing constant in this world is change! I do agree with this. Big time! However, I'm, at the moment, wondering if all changes are needed. Though I understand that not all changes are for the good, I still can't help but wish that all changes did people good or sometimes I even wish they never had to take place. Now, don't get me wrong, I like change. Really. I'm quite resilient when it comes to changes in my life and my situation. I'm not one to dwell in and continuously wish for what's gone and past. Except that lately, there's been a great change, that has taken place, which I wish just never took place.

I'm not talking about something physical. I'm talking about something that has to do with worldview, with perception, with feelings. I'm talking mind and soul. The kind of change that actually feels like a monster that slowly devours you piece after piece until it completely consumes you one whole. The thing is, I came to notice the scary monster only after it had already started gnawing at me. I was already at the point of no return, no more going back. I had become a fully changed person before I actually noticed it.

So, now, I'm trying to live with it. I'm doing my best to be able to keep everything in check. I'm working my ass off trying to deal with this change. It's difficult. It has caused me grief, but it has become a part of who I am. This is a very important change in my life. This is a change that I have to deal with and accept. Right now, I'd like to still think that everything will be all right. After all, all's well that ends well.

Changes have to take place whether it's for good or not in order for us to adapt into a certain situation or circumstance.

Saken mambo na madakel a changes raken imanto, more on the way i perceive things and my relationship with other people. I don't care if it does me good or not and I don't wish things would go back to the way they are. Hehe.

Hay. I wish I could talk to you very, very soon. Whatever that change is, you're still my precious! Love you! :D

The only thing constant is change. We grew because of it. Whether we like it or not for better or worse we have to live with it. As V. Frankle once said "When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves."

@Ai: Changes are things we must continuously deal with and accept as long as we are alive. There are difficult changes. I'm glad you haven't experienced these kinds of changes yet. But, they are bound to happen. When they do happen to you, I'm just here. :)

@t'Karl: Inlababo? Naku, hindi! Wish ko na ganu'n lang ka-simple 'yun. Ahehehe:) Thanks, owm? :)

@Anonymous: Thanks for sharing that. :)

read your blog... i suppose the changes that occur are mere opportunities for us to exercise our resolve to choose the path we think is best for us... just as when we ask God for wealth, he gives us opportunities to become wealthy, if we ask God for help, he gives us opportunities to ask for help from other people, if we ask God for peace, he gives us an opportunity to make peace with our enemies.... i'm sure that this change you are referring to is an opportunity in disguise... ;oP

I can so relate to this blog post of yours! We probably have different situations, but, two years ago, I felt this way. Changes. At the end of the day, they are for the best!
Kudos to you for a great blog!
